Matt Grebosky | Trybe Programs
Trybe program management for health and CPG brands

Brands don't stall on Trybe because Trybe doesn't work. They stall because no one is running it.

I run Trybe creator programs for health and CPG brands: recruiting the creators, protecting the good ones, and making sure the videos your creators make actually reach your ad account. I've made 500+ UGC ads myself, for brands like Heart and Soil, Huel, and Ultra.

The diagnosis

The vending machine

Most brands set up a Trybe program, set a commission, and wait.

Then the videos come in. Hundreds of them. You approve what looks decent, you upload a few, some run, none of it compounds. Your best creator goes quiet. The ones submitting most have never sold anything.

Six weeks later the program is technically alive and functionally dead. You are paying for a library nobody runs.

Here's the part almost everyone misses. Your brand health score is public to every creator in the app. It shows how fast you approve, how many videos you actually launch, and how quickly you reply to chats. A bad score gets buried in creator search, so you attract weaker creators, who make weaker videos, which makes your score worse.

That is the loop most Trybe programs are in. It isn't a commission problem. It's a running problem.

Submissions to review

The signal

What your brand health score tells creators

Creators check three things before they join a program:

01

Review speed

How long does a submission sit before it gets answered? Days, and they assume you won't run their videos.

02

Videos launched

Has anyone in this program actually seen their ad go live?

03

Chat replies

Do you answer, or do you go missing?

Get those three right and creators find you. Get them wrong and you can offer the highest commission on the platform and still lose the good ones.

The 60-second check

Open your Trybe account. When did you last answer a chat? How many videos have you launched? How many submissions are sitting unanswered? If any of those made you wince, the audit is worth 30 minutes.

The ads

500+ UGC ads made and delivered. 300+ through UGC Factory for brands including Huel, Magna, and Ultra, plus 20+ more CPG brands, and 200+ for Heart and Soil across paid and organic. I know what an ad looks like before it runs, and what happens when people who make content get told what to make.

The operator

Built and ran my own e-commerce brand for 2.5 years as the only operator. Nose to Tail, $500K a year in revenue. No team, no agency. Every ad, every product page, every dollar of spend came out of one person's calendar, so I don't hand you work I wouldn't do myself.

  • Creative consultant for Heart and Soil.
  • Currently consulting with brands on the Trybe platform, onboarding and structuring programs.
The method

The 8 plays

Every strong Trybe program runs on the same four stages. There are eight plays inside them.

Your first 14 days

Days 1-3Access, brief, and setting up shop. I connect the account, install tracking, and write the commission structure and creator floor. You give me positioning, the selling points that matter, and the go-ahead to recruit under your name.
Days 4-7Recruiting. I work my own network and the channels that source creatives who actually make ads, not just content with a product in it.
Days 8-11Test briefs. Your shortlist gets a paid test with detailed direction. I review art, hooks, and offer against your account standard, not against what looks nice.
Days 12-14First batch to you. Ten videos submitted for your approval, with notes on which I'd put money behind first. You approve, launch, and by month two the review standard moves to me.

What I need from you inside 48 hours

  • Product and account access
  • One approval brief
  • A named approver
  • Samples shipping
  • Permission to recruit on your behalf
Pricing

What it costs

$5,000/month floor

or 3% of revenue (e-commerce) or 3% of ad spend (SaaS and service), whichever is higher.

Growth e-commerce brands run on percent of revenue. SaaS and service businesses run on percent of ad spend.

Example

Revenue generated$300,000

3% of that$10,000

You pay$10,000, not $5,000

The floor is not a fee I invented. It guarantees a brand actually commits spend to the creative instead of leaving it to sit. If I generate $300,000 in revenue for you, 3% is $10,000, so you pay $10,000 and not the floor. The commission is meant to win.

The commission structure is set on day one and made public to creators in your program. It is what gets the good ones to opt in, and what I hold myself to.

First two clients

$3,500/month for the first 90 days in exchange for an honest case study and a testimonial at the end. After that the floor goes back to $5,000. I'm buying my own proof, and I'd rather say that out loud than pretend I have ten of them.

14day batch

The guarantee

In your first 14 days: five validated creators recruited and briefed, ten videos submitted for approval, every submission answered within 48 hours.

5validated creators, recruited and briefed
10videos submitted for approval
48hmax wait on every submission

If the batch isn't worth putting money behind, tell me and walk. I'll say so first.

My side of the line

Recruiting, the floor, the calls, the briefs, the review speed, the videos.

Your side of the line

Account access within 48 hours, one approval brief, a named approver, and samples shipping. If the product doesn't ship or the brief doesn't come, the clock stops.

Month one, you approve the batch. You're still grading me. From month two I own the review standard, because I'm the one accountable for what runs. You keep full visibility either way.

FAQ

Questions you're probably asking

You don't have any Trybe clients yet. Why should I be the first?

You shouldn't be unless the proof is right. I've made 500+ UGC ads and run my own e-commerce brand solo for 2.5 years. What I don't have is a Trybe client testimonial, and the 90-day discount above is how I'm asking for that.

Why not just run it in-house?

You can, and the 8 plays are yours to run. Most brands stall because nobody owns it full-time. The work is daily: invites out, submissions reviewed in 48 hours, chats answered, calls held. That's a job, and it competes with the ad account that actually pays the bills.

Can't I get creators straight from Trybe?

Trybe gives you the marketplace. It doesn't recruit for you, run your calls, or set your floor. Creators are comparing programs the moment they open the app, and the good ones join the ones that look run.

What if my product is hard to ship?

Then we test with what's available. That said, samples decide the timeline, so if shipping takes two weeks we start with creators who will work from product plus script first.

What happens after month one?

Month two is the review standard moving to me, new briefs from what ran, the floor re-evaluated for the creators who earned it, and a monthly report on what launched and what spent.

Can I cancel?

Monthly, with notice. No annual contract to escape from.
